Range rover bob tail pickup

This 1980 range rover classic came in as a project someone else had started. Its powered by a 300tdi for ultra reliability. Making this the ultimate go anywhere bobtail Range Rover pickup.

As you will see from the photos the project really hadn’t got off to a great start with the previous person attempting to put in the entire wiring harness from a Discovery 1 all because it had the EDC injection pump on it.

Well safe to say that was the first job, remove all of that rubbish including the pump and install a fully mechanical pump. A bit of custom work in the interior was carried out firstly buy making the MX5 seats fit along with making a centre console for it.

It was a bit if tight budget with this one so there was no room to get too creative with it but hopefully we can convince the owner that it needs a V8.
